Plan #1: Essential Psychiatric Evaluation & Treatment

Goal:

To alleviate your symptoms and improve your quality of life through careful medication management and/or solution-focused psychotherapy.

This Plan is Suitable for You If:

- You are new to seeing a psychiatrist or therapist, or you have had a generally positive, neutral, or satisfactory experience with psychiatric care, even if you're looking for something better.

- You have not yet tried "traditional" psychiatric approaches or have tried only a few medications or therapists.

- You seek treatment for symptoms of Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar Spectrum Disorder, or PTSD, or you need general support to manage life changes or stress.

- You are experiencing symptoms or have one or two primary problems/diagnoses for which you seek help.

- Your general physical health is good.

- You are open to considering psychiatric medications if deemed appropriate.

Included in the Plan:

- A comprehensive pre-session questionnaire that assesses your psychiatric history, medical history, lifestyle habits, and treatment goals.

- A 75-minute initial consultation.

- Follow-up appointments as needed (either 25 or 50 minutes).

- Treatment options include medication management and/or psychotherapy.

- The option to order and interpret follow-up lab work (basic lab tests only).

- Genomic testing is available to optimize medication choices (note: there is a separate fee for the test and lab review).

- Insurance coverage is included for certain services; specific details should be confirmed with the provider.

This plan provides a flexible and personalized approach, particularly beneficial for individuals new to psychiatric care or those looking to refine their existing treatment with a focus on medication and psychotherapy as needed.

Essential Assessment & Treatment for psychiatric care:

1. Without Psychotherapy : $2,500 - $4,000 for the first 3-6 months.

2. With Weekly or Biweekly Psychotherapy: $3,500 - $11,000 for the first 3-6 months.

Appointment Costs

- Initial Consultation (75 minutes): $925

- **Follow-Up Appointment (50 minutes)**:

- $475 (general rate)

- $425 (if attending weekly psychotherapy)

- **Follow-Up Appointment (25 minutes)**: $350

Appointment Types

-Medication Management Only: Typically 25 minutes.

-Medication Management and/or Psychotherapy: Typically 50 minutes.

- Complex Cases: A 50-minute appointment might be recommended for more in-depth discussions, such as complex medication issues or reviewing lab results, even without psychotherapy. However, this is less common.
